This is B's & B's Volcanic Website page.
Here are some awesome facts and websites of these extraordinary volcano
I will show you guys pictures of volcanoes and then describe them to you in a very reasonable way.
Here is a diorama of a volcano and it has erupted and gushing out lava or magma. On the bottom of the volcano is a magma chamber where they store the magma putting pressure on it until it explodes. Here is the link to stupendous website that let us use their picture http://www.clipart.dk.co.uk/143/subject/Geography/Volcano
This is a diagram of a volcano that has labels showing where parts of the volcano are,for instance it shows where the magma chamber is. https://www.clevernotes.ie/geography-test-yourself/hlol/leaving-cert/leaving-certificate-geography-volcanic-activity-diagrams/ this website shows a lot of details about volcanoes.
This is a epic volcano below
This is a picture of a deadly volcano that can lead people to death,by looking at the picture it shows me that this volcano has a powerful and destructive force. The volcano is like a monster as in nothing would stand in is way. The website that I borrowed this picture is from http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2405758/Volcano-chaser-Martin-Rietze-braves-volcanic-eruptions-capture-stunning-pictures.html
This picture is one of many Shield Volcanoes in Hawaii. Here is a link to the website that had this extraordinary picture http://kilauealavaflowmount.wordpress.com/2008/03/17/hello-world/
Shield volcanoes are volcanoes that have low pressure so it is runny, like water. They have wide tops. Its the largest volcano ever formed that actually looked like it was a real volcano. A shield volcano is only explosive if water seeps into the volcano however 90% of the volcano is rather than pyroclastic material. We got this wonderful info from http://volcano.oregonstate.edu/shield-volcanoes
This picture below is a example of a Lava Plateau.
Here is the link were we got this awesome picture http://www.scenic.com/visitor-information/grand-canyon/geology.
A lava plateau is a forming mountain with lava of high form levels which created the lava plateau. Lava flows out of many or several cracks in a area. Runny lava travels far before cooling and solidfying. lava floods the top from earlier floods. After millions of years the layers of lava can form the Lava Plateau.
Here is a astonishing picture of a Cinder Cone V.
Here is the link to this cool picture http://www.nhmu.utah.edu/unleashed/volcanoes
This picture shows us a lot of details about what or what is a Cinder Cone V. Cinder Cone volcanoes are dangerous and they are unpredictable so don't go near them unless they are extinct.
Below is a magnificent picture of a caldera.
Here is the website were we got this picture http://www.nhmu.utah.edu/unleashed/volcanoes this website will tell you interesting facts about a Caldera.
A Caldera is the aftermath of an ginormous volcanic eruption. After the eruption the magma chamber is empty, with nothing to support the mountain it collapses inward and that is how a Caldera forms. One of the most famous Caldera is crater lake above in the photo. A caldera basically a mountain that has collapsed in.
This is one of the most famous volcano which is the Composite V. down below.
Here is the website that we found this magnificent picture http://gph171rdz.blogspot.com/2010/11/composite-volcanoes.html . Clic on the picture or the link to go to the website.
A Composite V. is a volcano that has explosive eruptions of ash, cinder and bombs. Composite V. are stratovolcanoes which means that there extremely tall. We got this fact from http://volcanology.geol.ucsb.edu/volcano.htm. This website is an interesting place to get your facts about volcanoes.
Below is diagram of some volcanic land forms.
This is the link to the website that we found this diagram https://www.fas.org/irp/imint/docs/rst/Sect17/Sect17_3.html
Volcanic land forms are land forms created by volcanoes. Sill is When squeezes between layers of rock. Batholith a large rock mass of the core of many mountain ranges. Dike is a magma that forces that rock layer hardens.
This is a picture of a Island Arc.
Here is the link were I got this awesome picture http://www.moorlandschool.co.uk/earth/tectonic.htm
A Island Arc is a resulting of volcanoes creating a string.Major Island Arc located in places like japan,New Zealand,Indonesia, the Caribean Island The Philippines and the Aleutians.
This is a picture of a Hot Spot under a volcano.
This is the website were i got this picture http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/dynamic/hotspots.html
A Hot Spot is a area where magma deep from the mantle melts through the crust like a blow torch. They most likely to be in continental or oceanic plates.
This is a picture of a Ring of Fire
Here is the link to were I got my picture http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/infopage/ringfire.htm
The Ring of Fire is made by volcanoes along the pacific ocean.
